To acquire the land for Fremont Peak Park, FoFPP had to raise $1.5 million.

Major contributors to the land-acquisition phase included:

Once acquisition was complete, the Friends hired landscape architects from the Seattle firm GGLO and artist Laura Haddad through a grant from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.

This project was funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from the City of Seattle, Department of Neighborhoods.
